Free Thoughts: Obligatory February Post

Hay, hi, hello.

One blog post a month is the cadence I’d like to stick to in 2022. I almost let the month pass but I’m in formation.

Recap

February was a busy month for me. BINACT collabed with 2 organizations in addition to our 2 regular podcast episodes. For Valentine’s/Galentine’s/Palentine’s Day, The Pretty Powerful Foundation tapped me to help make a playlist for the holiday. It did not disappoint. You can find it on Spotify and Apple Music. Even though the holiday has passed, the music is still there to enjoy. To round out the month, I hosted an Amapiano virtual listening party with Nora of #CultureFix notoriety (see our awesome flyer, very proud of that one). We had so much fun that we forgot to take pictures. Hopefully, you can catch the next one so we can get a few shots!

Upcoming

There’s a lot of work happening behind the scenes. AD and I are working on a fun and informative podcast episode that will be released the 2nd week of March. If you’re caught up on the episodes, we leave a little nugget of what’s to come in episode 28. Future blog posts are going to be on curated topics including community questions, transcribed audio interviews from the podcast, and more updates like these. Overall, the blog is going to have more upbeat and refined content. I’m excited about that!
